Profile
Patrick Hill represents businesses across various industries in high-stakes litigation in state and federal courts. He has experience with banking, health care, antitrust, trade secret, employment and general commercial matters. Patrick routinely helps clients defend complex class actions and multidistrict litigation.
Patrick also maintains an active pro bono practice representing clients in a variety of matters, including appeals and landlord-tenant disputes.
Before joining Robinson Bradshaw, Patrick was an attorney with Alston & Bird LLP in Atlanta.

Represents the Southeastern Conference in multidistrict putative class actions filed by former student-athletes challenging NCAA rules.
Represents major financial services institutions in multidistrict putative class actions alleging assistance of financial fraud.
Represented national retailer in multidistrict litigation involving class and collective claims alleging violations of the Fair Labor Standards Act and the state labor laws of 19 different states.
Represented and advised major Carolinas health care system in defense and resolution of various commercial and breach-of-contract disputes.
Represented physician executive in securing denial of efforts by major Carolinas health care system to enjoin his employment by system’s competitor.
Served as appellate counsel to a real estate developer in litigation concerning alleged breach of contract in North Carolina state courts.
Served as appellate counsel to amicus curiae in matter before the North Carolina Supreme Court concerning state funding for public education.
Advised public health care systems in North Carolina and Georgia regarding obligations under state public records laws.
Obtained appellate ruling preserving summary judgment in favor of hospital in employment litigation before the Eleventh Circuit Court of Appeals.
