Profile
Andrew Wagner practices civil litigation and environmental law. As a litigator, Andrew represents clients in state and federal court in an array of matters, including contract disputes, trade secret protection, employment issues, environmental matters and class actions. He has experience at all stages of litigation, including pre-suit investigations, discovery, motions practice and appeals.
As an environmental attorney, Andrew guides clients through the maze of environmental regulatory compliance. He advises clients on the environmental aspects of corporate transactions, and represents them in environmental litigation and agency negotiations.
Andrew regularly represents pro bono clients in consumer protection and housing cases. He is a graduate of The Second City Conservatory, the country's leading training program for sketch comedy.

Business Litigation
Represents a state agency in defense of a wage-and-hour class action consisting of more than 15,000 employees who together assert claims for tens of millions of dollars in damages.
Represents sellers in a lawsuit in the North Carolina Business Court involving an $150 million sale of equity interests.
Represents a number of internet commercial clients in arbitration proceedings concerning internet privacy issues.
Secured a favorable settlement on behalf of a general partner involved in an intra-partner dispute in Delaware Chancery Court.
Environmental Litigation
Serves as common counsel to a group of potentially responsible parties involved in remediating a South Carolina state superfund site pursuant to a consent decree with state and federal agencies.
Advises a number of individual potentially responsible parties regarding state and federal superfund sites nationwide.
Secured a favorable settlement on behalf of a plaintiff in a CERCLA cost-recovery action in western North Carolina.
Secured a favorable settlement on behalf of a public utility company in a contested case hearing in the North Carolina Office of Administrative Hearings involving state water quality standards.
Represents clients in appeals before the Fourth Circuit Court of Appeals, the North Carolina Court of Appeals and the North Carolina Supreme Court.
