Amit Bhagwandass is a transactional lawyer whose practice focuses on leveraged finance and other debt financing transactions. His experience includes representing business development companies, small business investment companies, private funds, and other lenders and investors in a wide range of financing transactions, including leveraged buyouts and acquisition financings, recapitalizations, working capital financings, subordinated and mezzanine facilities, equity investments, and loan workouts and restructurings.

Represented the lead agent and arranger in their unitranche ("first out, last out") senior secured debt investment and equity co-investment in support of a private equity-backed acquisition of a flight training academy.
Represented agent and sole lender in its cross-border senior secured debt investment and equity co-investment in a global provider of cloud-based talent management software solutions.
Represented a publicly traded business development company in a split-collateral term loan facility to finance an add-on acquisition and refinance the existing debt of a private equity-backed distributor of industrial wear parts, together with the related intercreditor arrangement.
Represented the lead agent and arranger in their unitranche senior secured debt and equity investment in support of a private equity-backed acquisition of a SaaS provider of physician compensation and workforce management solutions for health systems.
