Women’s History Month: Megan Childress
PDFIn celebration of Women’s History Month, Robinson Bradshaw is highlighting women from the firm throughout March. Meet Megan Childress, director of new associate recruiting.
Describe what you do at Robinson Bradshaw.
As the director of new associate recruiting, I manage the law school, entry-level associate and post-judicial clerkship hiring for the firm. I oversee the firm’s summer associate program, including the integration, training and social event planning. I also support the firm’s lateral recruiting efforts.
What do you most enjoy about your job?
I love watching these bright, young law students grow into excellent lawyers and become leaders in our firm and community.
What advice would you give a younger version of yourself?
Find joy in the little things. You’re never going to make everyone happy, but that’s okay.
Who is a female role model you admire, and why?
Betty White. She was a pioneer in entertainment, an advocate for what she believed in, and ridiculously funny!
Tell us something about yourself that we wouldn't learn from your website bio.
I love to dance, and I’m not afraid to be the first one on the dance floor at weddings and parties!
