Robinson Bradshaw is pleased to announce the expansion of its health care practice with the addition of regulatory attorney Kelly A. Koeninger. Koeninger, an associate at the firm from 2010-15, has rejoined Robinson Bradshaw after serving as in-house counsel at a large orthopedic practice.

“The in-house experience Kelly brings to the table will be invaluable to our health care clients,” said Managing Partner Allen K. Robertson. “We are excited to grow our health care practice and welcome Kelly back to the firm.”

Robinson Bradshaw’s Health Care Practice Group comprises an interdisciplinary team of attorneys with the broad range of experience required to advise participants across today’s complex health care environment. The team assists health care clients with mergers and acquisitions, joint ventures, regulatory and compliance issues, litigation, and privacy and security matters.

Koeninger represents physicians, hospital systems, medical practices and other health care providers. Her transactional experience includes negotiating health care joint ventures and mergers and acquisitions. She also counsels clients on regulatory and compliance concerns, including HIPAA, the Anti-Kickback and Stark laws, and fee-splitting prohibitions.

Koeninger earned her law degree from the University of Virginia and her undergraduate degree magna cum laude from Centre College.
