Robinson Bradshaw is pleased to announce three new shareholders: Jason S. Kerr, Brian J. Litwak and Sandra K. Wilburn.
Kerr practices in the areas of investment management, fund formation and general corporate law. His experience includes working with fund sponsors on the structure, launch and ongoing management of investment funds, and associated regulatory and compliance issues. Kerr also works with institutional investors to evaluate and negotiate private investment opportunities.
Kerr holds a law degree from Columbia University as a Harlan Fiske Stone Scholar and a bachelor’s degree from the University of California at Berkeley.
Litwak is a transactional attorney focusing primarily on private mergers and acquisitions. He represents strategic and private equity clients pursuing acquisitions, dispositions and recapitalizations across a range of industries, including manufacturing, health care, SaaS, media, insurance and financial services.
Litwak earned his law degree with high honors from the University of North Carolina at Chapel Hill and his bachelor’s degree cum laude from Georgetown University.
Wilburn counsels clients in fund formations, private investment transactions and assorted intellectual property-related matters. She works with fund managers to develop and execute fund offerings and advises institutional investors regarding investments in private equity, venture capital, hedge funds and assorted other alternative investment funds. Wilburn also assists clients with software licensing, technology development and other intellectual property matters, and advises clients regarding domestic and international data privacy laws.
Wilburn received her law degree with high honors from the University of North Carolina at Chapel Hill and her bachelor’s degree with high distinction from George Mason University.
Kerr and Litwak practice out of Robinson Bradshaw’s Charlotte office, and Wilburn is located in the firm’s Research Triangle office.
