Robinson Bradshaw is pleased to welcome back Jeffrey Hart as a shareholder at the firm. Hart first joined Robinson Bradshaw in 1997 and opened the firm’s Research Triangle office in 2008. His primary areas of practice include private equity financings and investments, joint ventures and private fund formation.

Hart regularly designs and documents complex capital and funding structures, governance and operational systems, and buy-sell mechanisms for investment sponsors, joint venture parties and other clients needing highly customized business solutions. He works extensively in the formation of private funds, including venture capital funds, private equity funds, real estate funds and funds of funds. Hart assists private funds, corporate venture capital programs, endowments, and other financial and strategic investors with their investment transactions.
Among other accolades, Hart has earned recognition from North Carolina Lawyers Weekly as a Leader in the Law, The Best Lawyers in America, and Business North Carolina on its Legal Elite list. He earned his law degree from Duke University and graduated cum laude with honors from Davidson College, where he was Phi Beta Kappa and a Ken Kelley Scholar. Hart will work in Robinson Bradshaw’s Research Triangle office.
