Three Robinson Bradshaw attorneys were recognized in North Carolina Lawyers Weekly's Excellence in Law Awards for 2025. Stephen M. Cox and Amanda Pickens Nitto were named Leaders in the Law, and Caleb J. Holloway was named a Phenom.

Cox represents business clients in the litigation and arbitration of complex commercial matters, focusing on construction, employment and corporate governance disputes. In addition, he serves on Robinson Bradshaw's board of directors. Cox shared with NC Lawyers Weekly what makes his practice rewarding.

"I work with clients who are deeply committed to their own professions and a group of colleagues who will help me solve those problems in a way that is both energizing and enlightening,” Cox said.

Nitto advises clients involved in bet-the-company litigation, complicated employment disputes, shareholder and partnership governance issues, derivative actions and securities litigation. She also co-chairs Robinson Bradshaw's Recruiting Committee.

"Lawyers are gifted researchers, critical thinkers and excellent storytellers," Nitto said of leadership. "As leaders, we have a responsibility to share those gifts in service to our neighbors and friends."

Holloway counsels clients on a wide range of day-to-day employment, human resources and compliance issues, as well as diversity, equity, inclusion and accessibility matters.

“Practicing law allows me to constantly learn, teach, advocate and achieve measurable results for myself and others," Holloway told the publication.
