Robinson Bradshaw attorneys Elizabeth A. Tedford and Akya S. Rice have been selected to participate in the Leadership Council on Legal Diversity action programs for diverse, high-potential attorneys. Tedford will be an LCLD Fellow, joining a cohort of mid-career attorneys, and Rice will be an LCLD Pathfinder with other early-career attorneys. The programs provide professional and personal development experiences, leadership trainings, relationship-building opportunities and a robust alumni community.

Tedford represents large publicly traded companies, smaller startups and privately held companies, and private equity funds and their portfolio companies in business transactions, focusing on domestic and international mergers and acquisitions and dispositions, and related equity and structuring matters. She is based in the firm’s Research Triangle office.
Rice focuses her litigation practice on employment disputes and counseling. She has experience in both state and federal courts with employment discrimination and wage-and-hour claims under state and federal statutes, and she also advises clients on internal investigations. Rice practices from the firm’s Charlotte office.
