Robinson Bradshaw's annual Early Bird/Slacker CLE began with an interactive panel discussion on professionalism, focusing on how female legal professionals can work together – across generations and organizations – to support and advance one another’s professional development. Robinson Bradshaw attorney Emily Schultz moderated the panel, and firm attorneys Jennifer Hutchens and Preetha Suresh Rini served as panelists. They were joined by Michelle Langdon, vice president and director of professional liability litigation at Labcorp; Kristan Moser, paralegal at Atrium Health Wake Forest Baptist; and Julie Szeker, general counsel at US Radiology Specialists. Together, the group explored the importance and evolution of mentorship and sponsorship to legal professional development, and collaborated to find ways to create stronger partnerships between outside counsel and in-house counsel to uplift the professional development of all female legal professionals.
