Robinson Bradshaw attorneys Stoke Caldwell and Matt Efird were co-planners for the 2018 The Racing Attorney Conference, an annual program for motorsports attorneys hosted by the North Carolina Bar Association and the Indianapolis Bar Association. Caldwell and Efird also led sessions throughout the two-day program, joined by Robinson Bradshaw attorney Cary Davis.

Caldwell co-presented "Start-Up: Forming and Operating a New Race Team," covering topics like regulatory compliance and state and local government incentives.

Davis spoke at "Talent Contracts: Parties, Conduct and Restrictions." This session answered questions about proper parties, risk allocation, enforceability of restrictive covenants, moral clauses and injunctive relief.

Efird moderated a panel titled "Anticipating Sponsor Issues: Key Contract Provisions, Payments, Bankruptcy, Etc." Panelists discussed what happens with insolvency and bankruptcy, payment disputes, boilerplate provisions and due diligence.
