Robinson Bradshaw recently won a case in the North Carolina Supreme Court on behalf of Medflow Inc. Christenbury Eye Center sued Medflow, a developer of electronic medical records software, for an alleged breach of a software licensing contract. Medflow won a motion to dismiss in the North Carolina Business Court on statute of limitations grounds, and the case was eventually appealed to the state Supreme Court. Robinson Bradshaw attorneys Doug Jarrell and Fitz Barringer argued the case before the Supreme Court, and Justice Newby filed a unanimous opinion for the Supreme Court affirming the lower court’s dismissal.
