Robinson Bradshaw litigator Stephen D. Feldman participated in a virtual oral argument before the North Carolina Supreme Court yesterday, the first day in the Court's 200-year history that arguments were held using remote technology. The arguments were also streamed live on YouTube. Stephen's argument is available to view here.
The proceedings were held virtually to prevent the spread of COVID-19, reflecting a time when many in-person activities have transitioned online. Robinson Bradshaw attorneys have also participated in virtual hearings in venues in state and federal courts across the country — including the U.S. Court of Appeals for the Fourth Circuit — using remote capabilities since COVID-19 began.
