Robinson Bradshaw secured a victory in the ongoing class action litigation concerning concussions in collegiate football. The firm represented the Southeastern Conference in one of four sample cases selected from the multidistrict litigation that combined more than 500 individual cases. The SEC won dismissal of the claims against it on the grounds that the athletic conference lacked sufficient ties to Indiana where the case was filed, and therefore jurisdiction could not be established.

Robinson Bradshaw attorneys Robert W. Fuller, Pearlynn G. Houck, Stephen M. Cox and Richard C. Worf represented the SEC.
