Robinson Bradshaw earned the Compass Award designation from the Leadership Council on Legal Diversity for demonstrating a commitment to building a more diverse firm and a more inclusive legal profession.

“We believe strongly in the value of a diverse workforce and an equitable, inclusive workplace,” said Managing Partner Allen Robertson. “We look forward to furthering this important and impactful work through action, both within our firm and out in our community.”

The Compass Award recognizes that Managing Partner Allen Robertson and Robinson Bradshaw fulfilled the following requirements within one calendar year: Robertson personally attended the LCLD annual meeting, and the firm participated in the organization’s Fellows, Pathfinders and 1L Scholars programs. The Fellows and Pathfinders programs provide diverse, high-potential attorneys in the middle and beginning of their careers, respectively, with opportunities for development, networking and leadership training. As part of the 1L Scholars program, the firm welcomed two diverse first-year law students as summer associates in 2021.

LCLD is one of the nation’s leading organizations promoting diversity. It consists of more than 350 corporate chief legal officers and law firm managing partners — the leadership of the profession — who have dedicated themselves to creating a truly diverse U.S. legal profession.
