Robinson Bradshaw is pleased to announce the firm has achieved Mansfield Certification for the 2022-23 period. This accomplishment recognizes the firm’s deliberate steps to increase and sustain inclusive practices within the firm and its leadership. The firm was also certified for the 2021-22 period.
“Earning Mansfield Certification signifies that we are ensuring our paths to leadership are open, inclusive and transparent to all of our lawyers,” said Managing Partner Allen Robertson. “Robinson Bradshaw is committed to building teams that reflect the diversity of our clients and communities as we carry out our core value of excellent service.”
Mansfield Certification demonstrates that Robinson Bradshaw is dedicated to equitable professional development opportunities, and ultimately, a more diverse leadership. The firm considers a broad pipeline of lawyers – including lawyers from underrepresented racial and ethnic groups, women lawyers, LGBTQ+ lawyers and lawyers with disabilities – for job openings, promotions, leadership roles, pitch teams and more. To achieve Mansfield Certification, Robinson Bradshaw collaborated with Diversity Lab to create, implement and maintain built-in measurement, transparency and accountability mechanisms that further these goals.
“A commitment to DEI is important to Robinson Bradshaw because it not only demonstrates the work we’ve done to get where we are, but also the goals and plans we have for the future,” said Megan Belote, associate director of diversity, equity and inclusion. “Our commitment recognizes DEI work doesn’t necessarily have a finish line, but that working toward building a more diverse, equitable and inclusive company is a continuous journey.”
