Robinson Bradshaw attorney Julian Wright was quoted in a recent article in the North Carolina State Bar Journal about new statewide pro bono efforts. Wright is co-chair of the North Carolina Equal Access for Justice Commission's Pro Bono Committee, which is involved in creating new pro bono regional councils as forums for attorneys to discuss their experiences with pro bono work. The article shared Wright's comments as he opened the inaugural meeting of a regional council.

"I do pro bono work because I work for a firm where providing public service, including doing pro bono legal work, is embedded in the culture," Wright said. "I do it because the people around me whom I admire do it, and I strive to emulate them."
