John Wester Authors Op-Ed on Importance of Non-Partisan Judiciary

John Wester wrote an op-ed to encourage voters to evaluate judicial candidates in the upcoming election without taking the ballot’s party affiliations into consideration. He emphasizes the importance of a nonpartisan judiciary that is not beholden to the interests of a specific political party or of donors.

“The decisions our judges make can fundamentally change the lives of individuals and businesses,” Wester said. “The stakes are sufficiently high that the votes we cast on the judicial section of our ballot demand our finest exertion of citizenship.”
