Title IX: 50 Years of Equality
PDFVia webinar
Title IX was passed as part of the Education Amendments of 1972 and states that "No person in the United States shall, based on sex, be excluded from participation in, be denied the benefits of, or be subjected to discrimination under any education program or activity receiving Federal financial assistance." Mark Merritt led a panel discussion as part of a Mecklenburg County Bar CLE that covered the impact of Title IX over the last half-century.
