Evolving Ethics Issues for a Hybrid or Remote Legal Department
PDFVia webinar
As part of the firm's annual Early Bird/Slacker CLE, Robinson Bradshaw general counsel Kate Gordon Maynard led an ethics program on the myriad of practical and ethical issues associated with post-pandemic law practice in a law firm or corporate legal department with a hybrid or remote workforce. Maynard was joined by Gina Reppucci, vice president and associate general counsel at Fresenius Medical Care North America, and Trish Wray, associate general counsel at Duke Energy. The trio shared insights on building and maintaining relationships and culture; training new legal team members; ensuring attention to mental health and well-being; maintaining the duty of confidentially; the obligations of diligence, competence and supervision; and unauthorized practice of law issues related to remote work arrangements.
