RAP TRACC Hearing: The Racialization of Education
PDFJulian Wright spoke on the need for equitable opportunities for all children at a panel hosted by the Reimagining America Project: The Truth, Reconciliation, and Atonement Commission of Charlotte. He addressed issues of racial discrimination in the Charlotte-Mecklenburg Schools and larger Charlotte community by drawing on his experiences with the CMS Equity Committee, Freedom School Partners, Sugar Creek Charter School and Camp Grier. The project is a collaboration between George Mason University and Union Presbyterian Seminary.
