John Conley served as faculty chair of the North Carolina Law Review Volume 97 Symposium, titled "Legal, Ethical and Policy Implications of New Gene Editing Technologies." The symposium examined gene editing technology and explored its significant implications for law, ethics, regulation and health policy with panels of bioethicists, scientists and lawyers from around the country.
UNC Law students, faculty and staff and the public were invited to attend.
