As part of Robinson Bradshaw's annual Early Bird/Slacker CLE, Kate Gordon Maynard presented a session reviewing the rules of professional conduct as they apply to in-house lawyers. Topics included best practices for maintaining confidentiality when using technology; rules regarding supervisory responsibility in the legal department; conflicts of interests as they can arise for the in-house lawyer; and best practices for avoiding unintentional client relationships. Attendees earned 2.0 hours of ethics CLE credit.
