Mark Hiller and Erik Zimmerman presented "Highlights of the Ongoing U.S. Supreme Court Term" to the Association of Corporate Counsel-Charlotte Chapter.

The current term at the U.S. Supreme Court looks to be a blockbuster. The Court is considering numerous controversial and consequential cases, including disputes with high stakes for the business community, as well as cases raising important questions of constitutional law. Hiller and Zimmerman provided commentary on several cases.

Hiller and Zimmerman both served as clerks to Supreme Court justices — Hiller to Justice Sonia Sotomayor and Zimmerman to Chief Justice John Roberts.
