Attendees joined Dianne Chipps Bailey at the NCNG Annual Meeting and Conference for a discussion of how legislative and regulatory changes may impact the nonprofit sector including private foundations, donor-advised funds and public charity grantmakers. Audience members gained a deeper understanding of both proposed and enacted legislation and how to best prepare their organizations for success in light of new state and federal rules. The presentation covered federal tax reform, state real property tax exemptions, assumed names, regulatory moratoria, the Johnson amendment and much more.
