Scott DeAngelis is a corporate attorney representing clients in a variety of transactional matters, focusing on private equity finance and investment transactions, mergers and acquisitions, and general corporate law. He regularly represents business development companies, small business investment companies, private funds, and other lenders and borrowers in connection with structuring, negotiating, documenting and administering senior credit facilities, second lien and mezzanine debt investments, and equity investments. Scott also advises private equity sponsors and strategic clients in purchase and sale transactions.

  • Represented a lender in connection with a $12 million debt and equity investment in support of an independent-sponsor-led acquisition of a company providing interpersonal therapy services.

  • Represented a lender in connection with an initial $89 million unitranche credit facility in support of a sponsor-led acquisition of a leading filtration manufacturing company and through subsequent acquisition financings related thereto.

  • Represented a software-based ad serving company in connection with its $15 million revolving credit facility.

  • Represented the agent and arranger in connection with a $47.3 million syndicated credit facility in support of the construction and development of a housing subdivision.

  • Represented a lender in connection with the $40 million refinancing of an office building.

  • Represents various closely held companies with respect to general corporate matters.
